Skip Bayless mercilessly trolls Luka Doncic for Steph Curry like pre-game 3 point shot: ‘Should shoot 3s from out of bounds, behind the basket’
Skip Bayless slams Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic for having an awful shooting night against the Philadelphia 76ers
Luka Doncic is one of the brightest young stars in the NBA right now. Despite a slow start to the season, the superstar is now averaging 28.5 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 8.7 assists. Suffice to say, the player has finally found his groove.
Despite Dallas Mavericks’ loss against the Philadelphia 76ers, this trend continued for the player, for the most part at least. The player scored a stellar 32 points, on 50% from the field. However, the star just couldn’t seem to get it going from beyond the arc, shooting just 2 of 7 from three.
And as Skip Bayless generally does, he has chosen to publicly comment on the player’s shooting woes during this game.

Skip Bayless rips into Luka Doncic after his bad shooting night against the 76ers
At this point, Skip Bayless has become famous for ripping on players at every opportunity he gets. The analyst usually spends most of his time throwing shade at LeBron James. However, with the King now injured, he has had to turn his attention to other players as well.
And unfortunately for Luka Doncic, it seems Skip Bayless was watching him very carefully in his most recent game.
He pointed out Luka Doncic’s pre-game 3 point shot that was out of bounds at behind the basket to throw some shade at the young Mavs superstar. Skip used a Steph Curry analogy to mock Doncic, as Curry makes 3s from weird angles in practice and during the game.
Luka made a pre-game beyond-Steff trick shot from waaaay behind the basket on the way to the tunnel. Then he had another bad night from three (1-6). He’s a career 33% from three. Maybe he should shoot them from out of bounds behind the basket.

The Dallas Mavericks did lose pretty emphatically to the 76ers, with the final score being 95-113. However, as previously mentioned, Luka Doncic had a very productive night. He went 10-20 from the field against one of the best defensive teams in the NBA right now.
Moreover, while Skip Bayless is right about his career average from beyond the arc, the player is also shooting a much improved 36.7% from beyond the arc this season.
Skip Bayless is very much grabbing at straws for views at this point, and unfortunately for him, it isn’t the slightest bit subtle.
