“I can’t make sh*t shake with that.”: Le’Veon Bell Blames Jets Play Calling for Poor Form and Says He’s Ready for 2021 Return

Former Steelers RB Le’Veon Bell was awfully active on Twitter yesterday, after he declared he would be back on an NFL roster in 2021.

Bell, who was a part of Pittsburgh’s powerhouse offense with Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown, has been largely silent after leaving the Steel City.

His exit from anything but graceful, and his career followed suit. After holding out in hopes of a bigger contract, Bell ended up signing with the Jets and after they cut him, he spent some time in Kansas City.

During his stints with the Jets and Chiefs, his production was nowhere near the level it had once been, with many fans and analysts writing him off as “finished.”

However, Bell insisted via Twitter that “2021 will be the year y’all reminded.” He also got into some heated debates with fans by trying to defend himself and blamed the Jets’ play calling for his poor performances.

Le’Veon Bell Next Team: What Are the Top Landing Spots?

It’s, of course, very unclear how highly NFL teams rate Bell anymore. What has been made clear is Bell’s intentions: he will only sign once he’s ready.

While it’s a bit too early to speculate, some names have been thrown around. Included in these have been the Falcons, Dolphins, and Seahawks, among others.
