Leo’s parents, Bjorn and Patricia were present during the tournament and his mother shared her love for her son by posting ‘You are the best Leo!’ on social media. Also, his performance was appreciated by the tennis legend Mats Wilander.
As Wilander said ‘He clearly has good qualities. Good guy, a good touch of ball and technique. Naturally looking at his full game, you notice some weaknesses, but it’s normal and he has a positive attitude.’
Leo will also be witnessed in the feature film as young Bjorn which is based on the rivalry between Bjorn Borg and John McEnroe. Leo received a movie celebrity attention at this year’s esteemed Les Petits As tournament in France, the Wimbledon for 12 to 14-year-olds.
People also asked for his autographs and photographs with him. His mother Patricia was amazed and overwhelmed with such gestures as back home people were quite cool.
Also, there is not much of audience at a regular tournament in Sweden. But at the national championships, during Leo’s first-round match the tennis court is surrounded by at least one hundred people who watch him play. Most of the people are those who grew up idolizing Bjorn.
