“Like father, like son!”: LeBron James hypes up his son Bronny James after he makes the Sports Illustrated cover at Age 16
LeBron James Jr. aka Bronny James makes his first Sports Illustrated front cover, and LeBron James cannot hide his fatherly pride
Ever since the start of the millennium, there has been no NBA Draft prospect who got the kind of attention LeBron James did. Considered to be the ‘Chosen One’, James had a lot of pressure on his shoulders even before he made it to the NBA.
James had all the media attention and was on magazine covers even before he was done with high school. James was on Sports Illustrated, SLAM, and so many more publications at the tender age of 17.
It is safe to say that the King lived up to his hype and continues to do so, even after 18 years in the league. However, recently it was the other LeBron James, LeBron James Jr. who made his way to a front cover.
LeBron James is a proud father, hypes up Bronny James
Getting to the front cover of a popular publication is a big deal. To achieve that at the age of 16 is an even bigger deal. LBJ’s elder son LeBron James Jr, aka, Bronny James recently accomplished the same. Bronny James, who made an uproar when he signed with the FaZe clan, made the cover of Sports Illustrated with his teammates.
James, being who he is, couldn’t stop himself from taking it to his Twitter and hyping up his son.

Bronny, who is rehabbing a torn meniscus, has been focusing his time on gaming and e-sports. As for his basketball career, he looks to make his return to the court soon for Sierra Canyon High School. Bronny had a lot of hopes and aspirations riding on his shoulders. It would be interesting if he lives up to the hype on the court. As for now, all we can do is wait for his return to the court.
