The final match of the inaugural season of the ICC World Test Championship will be played between India and New Zealand in Southampton. Scheduled to begin from tomorrow, the match will bring an end to a two-year long tournament – the first of its kind in Test cricket.
It is worth mentioning that this will be the first time when India and New Zealand will be playing a neutral Test match. While this will be India’s first-ever Test at a neutral venue, New Zealand have played six of them against Pakistan in the last decade.

Given the players involved on both sides, the match is most likely to be a fascinating fixture. The fact that any lost time in the match will be covered on a sixth day has it in it for the match to witness a clear result.

Readers must note that the commentary for the iconic final will be available in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. While Star have had Bengali, Malayalam and Marathi commentators in the past, the same wouldn’t be the case on this occasion.
Online users can stream the match on Star’s streaming application named Disney+Hotstar. It is worth mentioning that the match is unlikely to be available on any other streaming platform in India.
