“Aaron, this one’s for you”: Tom Brady Hilariously Calls Out Aaron Rodgers Ahead of their Golf Match with Phil Mickelson
Bucs QB Tom Brady has been a great addition to the Twitter world. Today, in a promotional video for “The Match”, Brady poked some harmless fun at his Packers counterpart.
On July 6th, Capital One’s The Match returns. Brady and Rodgers, along with golf legend Phil Mickelson and 2020 US Open Champion Bryson DeChambeau will meet up in Montana for a game of golf. Brady will team up with Mickelson, with Bryson and Rodgers on the other side.
Two old guys against the young bucks @PhilMickelson. @b_dechambeau better get used to laying up because we know @AaronRodgers12 isn’t going for it 🤣 https://t.co/f1DQsFn41U

It’s not the first time Brady and Rodgers have competed on the golf course, but this time Brady has put a little more effort into getting on his opponent’s nerves.
In late May, when the match was announced, Brady posted a series of memes to his Twitter account which was certainly not expected from the 43 year old, but perhaps that’s the result of his move to Florida.

Tom Brady Confident in New Promo Video
In his latest social media extravaganza, Brady posted a video of sinking 3 straight impressive puts. Before the first one, he says, “Bryson, this is for you.” Before the second, he says “Aaron, this one’s for you.”
And finally, he predicts, “Phil, it’s gonna be a solid day. Get used to seeing this.”
Don’t worry boys, far more prestigious tournament coming up on July 6th… @PhilMickelson @b_dechambeau @AaronRodgers12 pic.twitter.com/BmH4eTpikI

Of course, the biggest story surrounding Rodgers this offseason hasn’t been a golf match, but his ongoing drama with the Packers’ front office.
Brady, despite all the jokes, has the utmost respect for his competitor. “I mean, I respect Aaron a lot,” Brady he said in an interview recently. “Aaron’s going to make the choices he feels are best for him. Everyone has different dynamics in their work.”
