Patrick Mahomes reacts to Sha’Carri Richardson Olympic ban -“just let her run”
Patrick Mahomes and numerous other NFL players reacted strongly to the ban placed on U.S sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson. She is supposedly suspended for 1 month for failing a drug test.
Athletes from the NFL clearly disagree with the ban placed on the young prodigy sprinter. Here’s what they said following the ban:

The 25-year-old quarterback openly tweeted his opinions on the issue. Here’s what he said:

Richardson (21 years old) won the U.S 100m finals at a time of 10.86 to qualify for the Olympics. In addition, She previously ran a lightning time of 10.64 in the semi-finals. This was one of the fasted times ever recorded in history.
She was one of the clear favourites to win the Olympic gold medal. However, following her ban, for now she would be missing out on this opportunity.
Odell Beckham Jr. reacts to the ban: “This is bull”
The Super Star wide receiver also commented on the action taken on Richardson’s failed drug test.

Furthermore, other NFL athletes such as Myles Garrett also spoke out against the issue. All of them clearly state that the ban is unnecessary and wrong as well.

Why was Sha’Carri Richardson banned from the Olympics?
As per reports, she failed a drug test which is the reason behind her 1-month long ‘suspension’. She tested positive for Marijuana.
She stated that her use of marijuana was a way to cope with the death of her mother as it sent her into “a state of emotional panic”. Here’s what else she said-
“I didn’t know how to control my emotions or deal with my emotions during that time.”
NFL athletes, celebrities and the general society are all compaining about the ban and hope to reverse it if possible.
