Earl Thomas NFL: Will Earl Thomas Ever Play Again In The NFL?
Earl Thomas had a fantastic career with the Seahawks. But after he left, he had a tough journey in the NFL.
Earl Thomas was definitely one of the best safeties in the NFL in the past, especially being part of the Legion Of Boom with the Seahawks. However, things went downhill after that.
Will Earl Thomas ever play again?
Thomas last played a game in the NFL back in 2019 with the Baltimore Ravens. So what happened to him after?
On August 21st 2020, Thomas got into a fight with his very own teammate Chuck Clark during practice. As per reports, he punched Clark and was sent home the very same day. His contract was later terminated and he was released by the Ravens as well.

In addition, he also had problems off the field. His wife allegedly held a gun to his head, later filed for a divorce, and also asked him to take “a parenting course” to act as evidence that he can take care of his children. This merely suggests Thomas was dealing with major problems outside the NFL as well.
Which teams can possibly sign him?
While it is unclear if he will play again in the NFL or not, there were teams that had an interest in him in the past. The Cowboys and the Texans were both involved in rumors in the past.
Both the Cowboys and Texans were at the bottom 10 of the league for yards per game allowed in 2020, so Thomas can be of definite help. The 32-year-old can perhaps still make a comeback to the NFL.
While the chances are slim, it all depends on whether teams want to take a risk or not, which was very similar to the Antonio Brown situation in the past. The Antonio Brown risk did work well for the Tampa Bay Buccanneers so…
