Jinder Mahal to interfere in the Styles vs Lesnar match at Survivor Series
The WWE has built up several swerves on the road to Survivor Series. One of the most surprising was “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles ending “The Modern Day Maharajah” Jinder Mahal’s title reign to set up a champion vs. champion clash at Survivor Series against Brock Lesnar. Which led to people think “Will Mahal be a part of Survivor Series”?
Latest reports suggest that Jinder Mahal will play a crucial role at Survivor Series by interfering during this inter-brand match.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the WWE Officials have considered this, to keep AJ Styles strong despite a loss as he would not lose clean.

Yet another possibility which is being reflected on is to do the reverse, wherein Mahal would help Styles pick up the victory and set up the earlier planned clash between Mahal and Lesnar, possibly at the next year’s Royal Rumble.
Initially, it was planned that special guest referee John Cena would interfere and set up his match against Jinder Mahal at WrestleMania. The plan was scrapped as Cena was included as the fifth member of Team SmackDown.
There were reports suggesting that Mahal dropped the title as he was working hurt, but those rumours were squashed by Mahal himself over an Instagram post as well as in an interview with ESPN.
There is also a possibility that Mahal might be included in the match as a special guest referee which will give more leverage to the interference angle.
With several twists and turns on the road to Survivor Series, it is guaranteed that the event will be one heck of a ride.
