“Giannis Antetokounmpo is no doubt a Top 3 player in the league”: Nick Wright places the Bucks’ star along with LeBron James and Kevin Durant on his list
NBA Analyst Nick Wright places Giannis Antetokounmpo alongside Kevin Durant and LeBron James as the Top 3 players in the NBA right now
The Milwaukee Bucks have shaken off the Finals’ shivers and finally secured a win. The Bucks beat the Suns 120-100 and registered a comfortable win. Giannis Antetokounmpo showed up, yet again, and dominated the game. Giannis finished the game with 41 points, 13 rebounds, and 6 assists.
Even Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton performed better than the first two games. Holiday scored 21 points and dished 9 assists while taking over in the 4th. Middleton scored 18 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, and dished 6 assists.
The Bucks not only got their offense back. They also managed to hold off the Suns with their defense. They limited the Suns to 100 points, where no individual had scored more than 19 points. They held Chris Paul to 19 points, and to a mere 10 points.Devin Booker
Nick Wright calls Giannis Antetokounmpo a Top 3 player in current NBA
The current day NBA has a lot of wonderful players. We have names like LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Kawhi Leonard, and many more. Giannis Antetokounmpo has made his way to the same list, all thanks to his relentless grind. The Greek Freak is a dominant force on the floor, and his paint dominance gives us flashes of the great Shaquille O’Neal. There is no doubt that Giannis should get recognition for the work he does.
However, NBA Analyst Nick Wright took this to a level too high. On his segment on ‘First Things First’, the analyst went on to call Giannis a Top 3 player in the current day NBA.
“Giannis is without question at this point, one of the 3 best players in basketball: LeBron, Durant, Giannis. We can argue about the order, but that’s unquestionably the top of the NBA pyramid right now.”

While Giannis is a Top 10 player for sure, calling him Top 3 just yet maybe a bit premature. However, if the Greek Freak can take down Chris Paul and his Suns, and win the NBA Finals, a case could be made for the same.
