John Cena will have a marquee match at Wrestlemania 34
After several patchy appearances in 2017, John Cena might be more involved with the WWE this year after he has been advertised for several shows going into WrestleMania.
The Cenation Leader is advertised for pay-per-views Elimination Chamber and Fastlane, Apart from that, Cena is also advertised for the post pay-per-view shows .
The respective venues of the shows revealed the appearance of Cena at the event.
Cena being a free agent is entitled to appear on shows for both brands. Here the RAW exclusive show is Elimination Chamber and the SmackDown exclusive show is Fastlane.
The venue also happened to mention the main event of the show which will be a Fatal-5-way match for the WWE Championship.
The Nationwide Arena mentioned that Cena would be making a “special guest appearance” which leaves several questions.
Cena was last seen at the Christmas edition of RAW where he faced Elias in the opening segment of the show. The Cenation leader also proclaimed that he would be participating in this year’s Royal Rumble.
The plans for Cena at the grandest stage of them all keep changing as it was earlier speculated that he would face Jinder Mahal to capture his elusive record breaking Championship reign.
As previously reported, the current plans for Cena is to have a match bigger than the calibre of a Championship match, which suggests a match against a huge returning superstar.
Names such as Batista, The Undertaker, Goldberg and Hulk Hogan are making the rounds at the moment.
