$20 Million Browns Star Nick Chubb Once Purchased a PS5 & XBOX Just To Spy On His Mates
Nick Chubb, the Cleveland Browns’ Running Back is a nam to reckon with in the world of the NFL. In the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft, the Browns selected him out of Georgia’s college football program.
Chubb was given his name in honor of his great-grandfather, one of the eight brothers who established Chubbtown, Georgia, a free-black community that lasted throughout the American Civil War. Zach played defensive back for Air Force, while his older brothers Henry played cornerback for Troy University.
Nick Chubb, who is currently worth around $20 million, is a living example of extreme hard work that helped him become a successful NFL star. One of the most prominent examples of his hard work is his X-box story. Nick Chubb purchased an Xbox and a PlayStation 5 not to play, but to check in at night to see who else was online before the game night.
Nick Chubb Give Credits to his hardwork mentality
He bought it during the preseason and never played the video game on it; instead, he texted the players who were playing to go to bed so they wouldn’t be late for the game the next morning. This is one of the most bizarre NFL stories, and it just might be the primary reason why the Cardinals might want to trade him.
Chubb attributed his success to Chubbtown’s work ethic. The RB was a workout warrior long before he was outworking his rivals on the field. In that town, the Chubb family legacy endures. John, George, Isaac, Henry, Jacob, William, Thomas, and Nickolus are the eight original brothers buried in the cemetery behind Chubb Chapel United Methodist Church.
Chubb’s mother recalled how Chubb used to find discarded truck tyres and run sprints with them tied around his waist before using high-tech weightlifting apparatus. Chubb didn’t spend his first spring break at Georgia partying it up like a typical college student would.
However, every Chubb was raised with the work ethic of Chubbtown. Henry Jr. played football at Troy, his older brother Zachary played at the Air Force Academy, and Henry played football in college at Valdosta State.
