Is Andrew Wiggins Playing Tonight Vs Hornets? Warriors Release Injury Report for 2022 NBA All-Star
The Golden State Warriors took down the Memphis Grizzlies on Christmas Day. It was a great gift for all the Warriors fans after a terrible 1-5 road trip. Playing without Stephen Curry and Andrew Wiggins, the Warriors managed to silence the young Grizzlies and hand them a 123-109 loss.
Jordan Poole erupted for 32 points, Draymond Green contributed with a double-double, and the bench really came alive. It was an overall team victory. With the win, the Warriors are now 16-18 for the season.
In this eight-game homestand, the Dubs would hope to solve some of their problems and get the team back to a winning record. They had a good start with the win over the Grizzlies, but now they need to avenge their loss against the Hornets next.
Andrew Wiggins has been ruled OUT for the contest
Andrew Wiggins suffered an adductor strain early in the month of December. He’s missed ten straight games and was expected to return in Brooklyn. However, he didn’t feel ready yet, so the team pushed the deadline to Christmas. However, he didn’t play the Xmas Game as well.
In the injury report issued, Wiggins is ruled as OUT yet again, making 11 straight games missed.
Andrew Wiggins remains out for an 11th straight game tomorrow vs Hornets with an adductor strain. JaMychal Green is still in health and safety protocols. Draymond Green is probable for Warriors.

Playing without Steph already, Wiggins not returning means that there is extra pressure on Poole and Klay. They’d have to step up and make sure that the Dubs do start losing games at home.
Can Wiggins make the All-Star squad?
In 2022, Andrew Wiggins got his first All-Star selection, as he was selected as a Starter. So far this season, Wiggins was averaging 19.1 points on 51% shooting from the field and 45% shooting from the deep.
Wiggins was also defending the opposing team’s best player while providing a vital offensive punch. He was sure to repeat as an All-Star, but with his injury, the chances of the same seem to have diminished.
