Amid a 4-game losing streak, the New Orleans Pelicans further received a huge blow when Zion Williamson was placed in the league’s health & safety protocols. While already having Brandon Ingram out with a toe injury, playing without Zion on the squad, definitely made the Louisiana-based franchise shorthanded.

Despite what analysts and naysayers had to say, with the All-Star duo of the former Duke Blue Devils sidelined, CJ McCollum and the remaining Pelicans stepped up and played some impressive basketball.

Zion Williamson listed as “Probable” against the Timberwolves

Last game against the Pacers, Zanos was listed as “doubtful”. Things look much better now as the 284-pound forward has been promoted to “probable” in the team’s latest injury report against Rudy Gobert and co.

NOLA supporters would further be happy with the positive interview the 6-foot-6 All-Star gave. Talking about his availability for the Pels-Wolves clash, the 22-year-old stated that he would most likely be suiting up.

As the New Orleans organization chases the Denver Nuggets for the #1 spot in the West, Zion’s (25.2/7.2/4.7) presence will be extremely crucial.
