The Baltimore Ravens still have a chance to win the AFC North despite already having a playoff spot secured, but their starting quarterback is still unable to practice.

Jackson, who is in the final year of his rookie contract, suffered a knee injury in Week 13 against the Denver Broncos and hasn’t been able to practice since.

Lamar Jackson’s Injury Update

Lamar Jackson has been ruled out of Sunday Night Football against the Pittsburgh Steelers, marking his fourth consecutive absence.

The Baltimore Ravens’ head coach, John Harbaugh, stated that even though star quarterback Lamar Jackson is making good progress, it is reasonable to assume that Tyler Huntley will start the team’s Sunday Night Football game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 17.

It makes sense that the Ravens would not want to rush Lamar back onto the field too soon, especially given that their victory over the Falcons last week secured their playoff berth. Despite this, many think the team will use Lamar in the final game of the regular season against the Cincinnati Bengals, which could be a winner-take-all game for the AFC North division title, rather than saving him for the playoffs.

Tyler Huntley, the backup quarterback for the Ravens, has been in charge of the offence for the past three and a half games. His average of 129.3 passing yards and 5.8 attempts per attempt places him 42nd out of 44 quarterbacks who are eligible and have attempted over 90 passes.
