DeAndre Hopkins’ Injury report: Will He Play Against the Falcons on Sunday?
The Arizona Cardinals are struggling as the season approaches the end because their star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is reportedly dealing with a knee injury and they recently lost Colt McCoy due to concussion symptoms.

Due to knee issue, Hopkins reportedly returned to the locker room during the Friday practice’s media viewing period. When the injury report is released, we’ll find out what his official injury status is, but with nothing on the line, the Cardinals might take the call to rest him either way.
The Arizona Cardinals chose to conduct a closed walkthrough on Friday rather than a full practice. There were two changes with the second injury report of the week.
Defensive lineman Jonathan Ledbetter was added, and wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins received an upgrade. The Cardinals will try to end the year strong. However, if DeAndre Hopkins is ultimately ruled out, it will be difficult to win on Sunday. We’ll keep an eye out for updates on his condition.
DeAndre Hopkins’ Injury Update
DeAndre Hopkins was in good health all week but has been deemed questionable after skipping practice on Friday. Prior to their visit to the Atlanta Falcons in their penultimate game of the season, the Arizona Cardinals held their final practice of the week on Friday.
However, the injury report provided by head coach Kliff Kingsbury and his staff gave unflattering information regarding who might start the game on Sunday.

In addition to cornerback Antonio Hamilton (hip) and quarterback Colt McCoy (concussion), who also joined the injury report on Friday after being cleared off concussion protocols earlier in the week, defensive lineman Zach Allen (hand) and cornerback Zachary Hopkins (hand) are all out for Sunday due to their injuries. All three did not practice on Friday.
The injury bug has plagued the Cardinals throughout the entire 2022 season. Due to the injuries to Colt McCoy and Kyler Murray, the team is struggling at quarterback.
Murray, who previously damaged his ACL, is anticipated to be sidelined for six to eight months. As reported by Ian Rapoport, McCoy will not play in Week 17 after exhibiting concussion symptoms, according to Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury.
