“Klay Thompson Impacts Winning in a Lot of Different Ways!”: 8x All-Star Stephen Curry Talked About His Splash Brother’s Recent Form
The Golden State Warriors have won five out of their last six games. Playing without two of their best scorers in Stephen Curry and Andrew Wiggins, the Warriors have managed to go 5 and 1 on the six games at home so far. A big reason behind their success has been Klay Thompson.
The 4x All-Star has been finding ways to help the Dubs close games. Over the last four games, Klay averaged 36 points per contest, which also included a 54-point game.

His recent outburst helped the Warriors climb back above the .500 mark. While it may not seem like much, considering these are regular season games, every win the Warriors get while Steph is injured will only help them get a better seeding once Curry returns.

Stephen Curry showers love on Klay Thompson
This decade hasn’t been easy for Klay Thompson. He suffered an ACL injury in Game 6 of the 2019 Finals, leading him to miss the entire 2019-20 season. As he was nearing a return, Thompson suffered an Achilles injury. Klay made his return to the NBA nearly a year ago today. After missing 941 days of action, no one was sure about what we could expect.
So far, Klay had given us glimpses of brilliance but nothing consistent until right now.
After today’s practice, Stephen Curry was asked whether his Splash Brother is ‘back.’ The 8x All-Star replied and talked about how Klay impacts winning and how it’s great to see him knocking down shots again.

If Klay can sustain this form, it would be brilliant for the Dubs and their playoff chances.
How is Steph’s injury rehab progressing?
Today Stephen Curry participated in 5-on-5 practices and scrimmages. He also took part in contact practices.

That is great news, and it sits perfectly with the January 13th timeline for his return. The Warriors would hope to win their next two games and hand Steph the reins back on a winning record.
