Is Luka Doncic Playing Tonight vs Pelicans? Mavericks Star’s Injury Update Comes With Doubts
Luka Doncic has always been one of the better players in the NBA. However, what he has started to show now has given fans reason to believe that he will one day steal Michael Jordan’s crown as the GOAT.
And just a reminder, this man is still only 23 years old.
Now, for as otherworldly Luka Doncic has been this season, the Dallas Mavericks have been bad enough to need every little bit of it to keep their playoff hopes afloat. And with the big face-off against the Pelicans set to happen tonight, the team is only going to need him that much more.
So, with that in mind, what’s Luka Doncic’s status? Will he be healthy enough to play?
What is the latest on Luka Doncic and his availability ahead of Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans?
Luka Doncic isn’t a player that would miss games easily. In that sense, Mavericks fans will be happy to know that he truly is the anti-Kawhi Leonard.
However, sometimes it may be important to rest just a little. And especially in the case of Luka, who has been hobbling (ankle) during the last few games, perhaps it may be time to take a little rest as well.

However, if Doncic knows it, he doesn’t seem to care as he has been deemed as probable to play as per ESPN.
Fans will be hoping that that is a sign that his ankle has healed up a good amount.
But, will that be good enough to win against a soaring Pelicans team headed by a rejuvenated Zion Williamson?
UPDATE: Luka Doncic has been ruled out of tonight’s game against the Thunder thanks to a left ankle sorness.
Luka Dončić (left ankle soreness), Dorian Finney-Smith (right adductor strain), Josh Green (right elbow sprain) and Maxi Kleber (right hamstring tear) will all miss tonight’s game in Oklahoma City.

What are Luka Doncic’s averages for this season?
34 points, 8.8 rebounds, 8.7 assists, and 1.7 steals per game. 50% FG, 35.2% 3FG%, and 74.2% FT.
