After Joe Rogan Another UFC Legend Speaks on Conor McGregor PED Allegations: “He Got Really Big in a Short Amount of Time”
In 2021, the former UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor suffered a gruesome leg injury, that took him almost a year to recover. Fortunately, as seen in his latest training videos, ‘The Notorious’ has completely recovered from the leg break.
However, another thing that is very noticeable about the former dual champion after his recovery is his size. The UFC fighter, who once competed in the featherweight and lightweight divisions, now looks nowhere near his regular weight. In fact, McGregor once admitted on his Instagram live that he now weighs around 265 lbs.
His immense mass gain has given many fans and UFC pundits a window for speculation about the use of banned substances. Among them is the long-time UFC color commentator Joe Rogan. And now the former UFC light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell has also joined the bracket.

However, the UFC legend raised an eyebrow at the sudden mass gain of the Dubliner. “Look man, I don’t judge anybody. I am not looking at what they are doing. I know it looks like he got really big in a short amount of time.”
It is interesting to note that not only McGregor looks twice his size, but he is also out of the USADA testing pool for a long time now. Therefore, previously, even Joe Rogan accused the UFC superstar of using banned substances.
Joe Rogan on Conor McGregor’s steroid use
One notable thing about the veteran UFC color commentator is that he never shies upon sharing his honest opinion on any topic. He did something similar while talking about McGregor’s scenario.

In one episode of his famous podcast, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience,’ the UFC commentator beleived that ‘The Notorious’ is getting away with using steroids because he might have found a loophole in USADA’s testing pool.
Rogan was of the opinion that McGregor is doing enough steroids that his urine might melt the USADA cup while testing. Meanwhile, McGregor wasn’t happy about Rogan’s statement. He clapped back at the JRE host on Twitter. But later deleted the tweet.
‘The Notorious’ has admitted that he will enter the testing pool in February. Hence, he might be eligible to compete in the fourth quarter of this year if he comes clean.
Do you think McGregor might be using banned substances? What are your thoughts on Rogan and Liddel’s comments?
