“Stephen Curry Gets to the Hole Against the Biggest Shot Blocker”: Chris Webber Once Pointed Out What Makes it so Difficult to Stop ‘The Chef’
When it is all said and done, Stephen Curry would be one of the greatest to ever dribble the basketball. The 6ft 2’ point guard of the Golden State Warriors has already established himself as the greatest shooter of all time.
His otherworldly shooting, though, is the reason why all his other tremendous skills on the court do not get as much appreciation as they should.
And one of the best players in the league of the 90s, who also once played for the Warriors, told why it is not just his shooting that makes it difficult to stop the baby-faces assassin.
When Chris Webber talked about what makes Stephen Curry unstoppable like Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant
In his appearance on the Dan Patrick Show, NBA Hall of Famer, Chris Webber, who himself was one of the most unstoppable players during his time in the NBA for an extended period of time in the late 90s and early ‘00s, talked about what makes Stephen Curry unstoppable like Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant.
However, it was not only The Chef’s incredible shooting that C-Web described as something that makes him, him. It’s his ability to take the basketball to the hole that is against the biggest shot blocker in the opposition.
Webber, who was also a terrific defender, but went under the radar because of his offensive genius, even confessed that he would face a tough time in defending the 2x MVP.
Curry really becomes unstoppable because of his prolific game around the rim
When a 6’10 forward who averaged over 20 points and 10 rebounds per game in his 15-year career in one of the toughest eras of basketball says that for a guard. It becomes way more significant than it actually is.
Now, when you would see Curry play, you’d never oversee his ability to convert it to a bucket whenever he is near the rim. It’s over 62% for his career, which is better than several big men in the NBA. Astonishing!
