After Refusing ‘$8 Million Offer’ From UFC, Francis Ngannou Receives Advice From ‘Richest’ Fighter Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor, the former lightweight UFC champion, is undoubtedly one of the greatest stars in the promotion. ‘The Notorious’ brings in a lot of eyes from around the globe when he is fighting. Thus, the Irishman has a contract that makes him the highest-paid athlete in the UFC.

However, this is not the case for many UFC fighters. Over the years, the company and athletes have had issues with the fighters’ pay. One name that we often heard in recent times is the former heavyweight UFC champion Francis Ngannou. Unfortunately, ‘The Predator’ is no longer in the UFC after he reportedly refused a deal with the promotion.

What advice did Conor McGregor give to Francis Ngannou?

Conor McGregor is, without a doubt, an amazing fighter. Besides that, he has always been on good terms with the promotion, and here the management team comes into the picture as well.

Paradigm Sports Management is one of the most renowned agencies in the sport. They are also associated with notable UFC names, including Israel Adesanya, Jiri Prochazka, Michael Bisping, and more.

Thus, ‘The Notorious’ took to his official Instagram account and advised Ngannou to join Paradigm Sports Management. He uploaded a post of Ngannou’s recent interview and wrote, “Correct representation is imperative. Seek @paradigmsports!” in the caption.

The fallout between UFC and Ngannou

‘The Predator’, for a long time, now has openly talked about his disputes with the UFC. However, his exit from the promotion has definitely shocked the MMA community. After all, the heavyweight star was still in his prime.

Previously UFC president Dana White stated that Ngannou refused a deal with the UFC, which could have made him the highest-paid heavyweight of all time. Later in an interview with Ariel Helwani, Ngannou confirmed that he was offered a whopping $8 million for a three-fight deal.

However, ‘The Predator’ also informed that he demanded a few more things, including boxing match freedom, insurance, and more in his contract. Unfortunately, the contract didn’t provide him with those conditions. Thus, Ngannou decided to end his terms with the UFC.
