Star Sports Commentators for IPL 2023: Is Harsha Bhogle in commentary panel for IPL 2023?
Australia Test vice-captain Steven Smith, former Australia captain Aaron Finch, former South Africa all-rounder Jacques Kallis, former New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori are among the high-profile overseas names which will be calling Indian Premier League 2023 matches for television broadcaster Star Sports Network.
Been in India for over a couple of months now, Smith extended his stay in the country to follow representing Australia in seven matches across formats by a rare commentary stint. Finch, meanwhile, was part of Star Sports’ commentary team during the recently concluded three-match ODI series between India and Australia.
Having gained popularity for their coaching stints in the recent past, former Australia all-rounder Tom Moody and former England captain Paul Collingwood will also be joining the aforementioned players. With each one of them been part of IPL franchises in some capacity in the past, one can expect intriguing insights in addition to detailed analysis of matches from these World Feed IPL 2023 commentators.
Speaking of former Indian cricketers, several tried and tested names in Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh, Irfan Pathan and Sanjay Manjrekar will be heard calling IPL 2023 matches in Hindi.
Is Harsha Bhogle in commentary panel for IPL 2023?
As far as legendary broadcaster Harsha Bhogle is concerned, there has been a lot of ambiguity around his IPL 2023 participation as a commentator. A primary reason behind the same is that commentary panel lists doing rounds across social media platforms don’t feature his name.
Star Sports not releasing an official list of commentators has acted as fuel to fire. That being said, fans can expect Bhogle to be among a 13-member English commentary team as the same was confirmed by him on Twitter lately.
Yes I am. And I am looking forward to it. Why do you ask? https://t.co/hAaz3jDyPH
