After weeks of relentless Taylor Swift and Fernando Alonso dating rumors, the Aston Martin star is yet again tipped to have found romance. But, this time the linked person isn’t a celebrity, but a journalist named Melissa Jimenez.

As per the Spanish media outlet Lavanguardia, Alonso is tipped to be dating Spanish sports journalist Melissa Jimenez. This has come months after the Asturian parted ways with Andrea Schlager, his previous partner.

The Aston Martin driver was in a relationship with Schlager since early 2022. After almost a year, they broke up, mutually, in April this year. Interestingly, she was also a sports journalist by profession.

Now, with back-to-back dating spree with two sports journalists cleared the fact that the two-time world champion has a different place in his heart for them. Is it so? Only Alonso knows.

Who’s Melissa Jimenez, Alonso’s new rumored partner?

Born in Lieja, Belgium, Melissa Jimenez is a 35-year-old Spanish citizen. Her full name is Melissa María Jiménez Dionisio. Her parents are Antonio Jimenez and Luciana Dionisio.

Jimenez is an accredited journalist who works with the British media group DAZN. Before working for DAZN, she was associated with Telecinco, Sky Italia, and Marca TV, where she had good stints with Moto GP.

Apart from being a renowned sports journalist, Melissa Jimenez is the ex-partner of Spanish soccer star Marc Bartra. The duo has been married since 2017, but their reunion ended in 2022.

Admittedly, Jimenez also has three children with the former Barcelona star. Named Gala Bartra Jimenez, Abril Bartra Jimenez, and Max Bartra Jimenez.

How Alonso and Jimenez made the headlines?

The duo was in the headlines recently after they have been spotted during a vacation in France. As per Socialite, Jimenez is believed to have traveled with Fernando Alonso in his private jet.

But the main revelation has arrived through a photograph that the Asturian took with a fan. Even though it seemed like a normal photo, in the background, Jimenez was spotted.

Admittedly, many claimed it wasn’t the sports journalist herself, but a section of fans said it was indeed the sports journalist Melissa Jimenez. Apart from this, the duo hasn’t been spotted anywhere in public and most importantly they are yet to comment on this.
