3 of the Best Places You Should Visit in Minecraft Update 1.20
Although Mojang is only bringing us one new biome in the new update, we are getting several changes to the existing biomes. We are getting new blocks and items for those structures and it will be exciting to see what they are once the update drops. That being said, here are three of the best locations you should visit to get the most out of the new update to experience the new features.
3. Desert Wells and Villages

First, the Desert Wells are placed you will need to visit after the update. Previously, they were no point of interest in the game. However, now that Archeology is a point of interest in the game, we will see structures harboring suspicious sand and gravel that have pottery sherds in them. You can use a Brush to collect them.
Another structure you should visit is the Desert Village. This village will have the Camel mob which two players can ride. It is slower compared to other rideable mobs but it has a useful dash ability. In addition, these villages have a higher chance of spawning these mobs.
2. Trail Ruins

The Trail Ruins are something everyone should explore in the game once it releases. Due to the introduction of the Archeology feature, players can find all kinds of interesting items related to that field here including suspicious blocks. Use your brush tool to see what surprises hide within.
You can find these ruins in the Birch forest and Jungle biomes. The scenery around these places is gorgeous. However, most of them are buried underground so make sure you bring your tools.
1. Cherry Groves

This is by far the best thing you can experience in the newest update. The beautiful Cherry Blossom Biomes harbor lots of Cherry Grove trees that drop pretty petals and a new type of wood. These places generate on top of mountains with trees having bright pink shades and dark-colored wood.
For added realism, you will see lots of beautiful pink petals scattered on the ground near the Cherry Groves. Ensure that this is the first biome you visit when you start your 1.20 update exploration.
There you have it folks! These are all the locations you should prioritize visiting to experience the newest features in the update. For more Minecraft news and guides, click here.
