Josh Allen Running Over Ravens’ LB in $4,000,000,000 Madden 24’s Promo Ignites Fresh Controversy

It is finally here! After a long anticipated wait, EA Sports has finally released the cover for Madden 24. Contrary to what Deion Sanders hoped, the player featured this year is Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen. While almost everyone will agree he deserves to be on the $4,000,000,000 worth(per Moneyinc) gaming franchise’s poster, not everyone is amused with the video promo of the game. Especially Ravens linebacker Patrick Queen, who did not deserve what came his way at all.

The release trailer featured clips from the game, with various popular celebrities making the cut. Players such as Jalen Hurts, Lamar Jackson, and Patrick Mahomes, who was shown making throwing the ball while throwing himself in the air. However, the most painful part was given to Patrick Queen, and that too without asking him it seems.

Toward the end of the Madden promo, the Bills and the Ravens are seen facing each other at the Highmark Stadium. The video then goes on to show poster boy Allen charging into and running over Queen as he drags him into the endzone. Queen soon came to know about this, and he took it in a rather jolly way. Though it does seem he vehemently disagrees with what EA did to him.

Queen took to Twitter to address EA’s rather low blow against him. His first Tweet read, “How I get signed up to be the one ran over on the release video😂”, which he followed up with a, “Man I woke up with good energy too. Was gone go fish, release . Now they gotta see the oven“. He soon asked EA to get their facts right, tagging a video where he clearly has no problem stopping Allen in his tracks.

Queen was drafted #28 overall by the Baltimore Ravens in 2020. In his time at Baltimore, he has quickly risen to superstar status. In 3 years, he has played close to 50 games, starting all of them. He has a total of 321 combined tackles to his name, of which 213 are solo. He has also managed to bag 10 sacks and 3 interceptions, and 58 yards from 5 fumble returns.

Patrick Queen will be an instrumental piece of the Ravens’ war machine as they gear up to go all the way this season. The latest additions to the roster, including Odell Beckham Jr., will only raise the bar of expectations for the team. While the offense is safely under the guidance of Lamar Jackson, Queen and his fellow defensive players will have to go all in to get their team across the line.

Josh Allen is the first ever Bills player to be featured in a Madden cover

Josh Allen will not be the only person hyped about his feature on the Madden cover. The entire Bills Mafia will be celebrating, since this is the first time ever a Bills player has made it to the front of a Madden game cover. However, some may be concerned about “the curse”, which basically says that when a player is featured on the cover, their next season turns out to be an absolute disaster.

The Bills Mafia will be hoping Allen breaks that curse. Buffalo needs him to be at his best to challenge the Chiefs this year. The only way to prevent Patrick Mahomes from dominating the league is by being dominant. The Bills definitely have the potential to make it to the Super Bowl. Though the question is, will they have the strength to last the entire way?
