Deion Sanders Delivered Important Message About Respecting Women to His Colorado Boys
Deion Sanders’ Buffaloes have taken national media by storm. Still, more than talking about winning, the former NFL legend wanted to ensure his team held some essential principles, namely respecting women.
Back in January, long before the college season started, Sanders had a meeting with his team where he made sure they understood that he wouldn’t tolerate any kind of disrespect towards women as per ESPN on Instagram.
Sanders is doing a fantastic job with the University of Colorado Boulder, but more than just trying to win games, Sanders is trying to change the culture of the program. The Buffaloes had an abysmal season last year, finishing 1-11. This year, they’ve already tripled their win count. Deion Sanders did a lot more than just implement new coaching strategies and schemes, however.
While the Buffaloes are wowing fans all over the nation on the field, what goes on behind the scenes is much more important. Sanders knew that he would have his hands full with a team that didn’t achieve much success last year, but he’s done a tremendous job.
In January this year, Sanders brought the women on the University of Colorado men’s football team program and had his team understand that he wasn’t going to tolerate any disrespect against them.

Building character and making people inherently good is a big part of Sanders’ coaching philosophy, and he made sure to follow the same ideology in Colorado.
Sanders’ Buffaloes Face a Tough Couple of Weeks
While the Buffaloes have been electric and have grabbed all the national spotlight, they will truly be tested in the upcoming weeks. Oregon and USC are no slouches, and the Buffaloes enter as underdogs.
Of course, that doesn’t mean that Sanders is going to back down and roll over. That’s simply not who he is nor who he is team is. His son Shedeur Sanders is one of the best quarterbacks in the country right now, and if anyone could pull off such an upset, it’d be the team led by Deion Sanders.
