Ben Stokes slams Virat Kohli’s fans: The English all-rounder gave a fitting reply to some Virat Kohli fans on social media platform Twitter.

England all-rounder Ben Stokes recently lashed out at some fans of India captain Virat Kohli on social media platform Twitter. Stokes shared his comments after he saw plentiful Kohli fans expressing their anger on axed English batsman Ben Duckett.

It all started after Duckett’s attempt to post a funny remark on Kohli wasn’t accepted well by the Indian fans. Duckett had replied on a Twitter handle named crickshouts’ question on the Indian skipper.

While the 24-year old cricketer meant it in a way how Kohli has made a mockery of some records at the highest level, it didn’t go down well with fans of Kohli. It was at this point in time that Stokes came in his teammate’s rescue. The all-rounder was seen highlighting that the Indian fans don’t get such contexts.

Given that Duckett hadn’t posted anything derogatory on Kohli, he has been on the receiving end of severe criticism since the day before yesterday. One can only sum it down to him becoming a victim of the consequences of social media.
