Patrick Mahomes’ Mother Calls Jackson Her Favorite Son Before Chiefs vs. Bills Matchup

With all his victories on the gridiron, and the popularity and goodwill he has garnered, one would imagine Patrick Mahomes to be his mom’s favorite son. However, Randi Mahomes’ recent social media activity seems to suggest it is her younger son Jackson.

Randi and Jackson are often seen together on special outings, or at Patrick’s games. They will be attending Kansas City Chiefs’ most anticipated game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.

On Saturday night, Randi, along with her daughter Mia, and Jackson attended the Billie Eilish’s concert at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City. That concert was again a special one for Jackson, who is a big Eilish fan.

Jackson posted about the concert on Instagram with the caption, “Family! [black colored heart].” To which his mother responded, “My fav son!”

Randi’s comment got the fans into hyperdrive, with many jesting and commenting about how Patrick would take it. “Lol Jackson took your phone didn’t he?” a fan replied. “Wow!! what will Patrick say lol,” another fan wrote.

“Haha don’t tell Patrick Mahomes,” commented a user.

Well, even if Patrick comes to know about this comment, be sure that the star QB would be happy for his brother more than anything else. The Mahomes family has always been a tight one and the members ensure they are there for each other during the good times and the bad.

Jackson, for instance, has been on the wrong side of the law as well as the media spotlight over the years. And Randi has always stood up for him, helping him weather the storms. The trials and tribulations seem to have made their love stronger.

That said, Randi has always shared a strong bond with Patrick as well. With the NFL star’s busy schedule, and the public personality that he is, Randi would find it hard to get his son all to herself. She would not be able to, say, attend a concert with Pat, the way she did with her other two children. So she does the next best possible thing: Patrick’s mom tries not to miss the Chiefs’ games.

The QB has spoken about how much he loves and values his mom’s role and continuous presence in his life. Randi has stood by Patrick right through his career from school — the victories, losses, awards and everything in between. Patrick returns that love in equal measure, ensuring she is part of his as well as wife Brittany and children Sterling and Bronze’s cherished moments.

Patrick’s well-rounded personality, and the familial and personal values he carries, is largely a reflection of  Randi, who clearly is the binding force in the Mahomes clan. And she ensures there is no favoritism there, social media comment notwithstanding.
