Shedeur Sanders Splurging $500,000 on a Rolls Royce Despite Sliding to Round 5 Didn’t Please NFL Fans: “Gonna Live With His Dad Again Soon”
Shedeur Sanders is reportedly putting that four-year $4.6 million contract to use already. After sliding to round five in the draft, you’d think the former Colorado star would be a little conservative when it comes to celebrating his NFL entry. But, no. He’s Shedeur Sanders, after all.
After going from the projected first-round pick to a fifth-round selection by the Cleveland Browns, Shedeur has bought himself yet another Rolls-Royce, as per reports. This time, it seems to be a custom ride.
In February, Shedeur was spotted eyeing high-end vehicles at Vegas Auto Gallery. He had set his sights on a Rolls-Royce Phantom with an Exterior Black Diamond finish and an Interior Grace White with Peony Red Accents, priced at a hefty $495,000. However, Sanders wanted the car in an earth green color.
It seems like he got what he wanted with the custom ride. The quarterback’s older brother, Deion Sanders Jr., was seen flexing the olive-green whip on YouTube.
“A much-deserved gift to himself,” Dov Kleiman reported on X. But fans didn’t think Shedeur’s earnings justified such a luxurious present.
Considering that this supposed new whip costs around half a million, and Shedeur only has his $447,380 signing bonus in guarantees, fans were perplexed by his spending habits.
“Gonna be living with his dad again soon,” one fan noted rather sarcastically.
That’s his entire take home pay for year one of his rookie deal. 🫡

There goes his first year salary….

Fans clearly didn’t think a new car was “well-deserved.” Add to the fact that Shedeur’s draft slide cost him tens of millions of dollars, it doesn’t seem like much to celebrate either.
So rather than hitting the field and studying the playbook + film, he’s spending his entire first year salary on a car? No wonder no GM wanted this kid 🤷♂️

Shedeur also flaunted a massive diamond chain reported to be worth well over $100K during the draft, and flashed a briefcase reportedly carrying a million dollars during his celebration party.
Shedeur is rich and likes to show it. That’s not exactly breaking news. He already owns another Rolls-Royce Cullinan, a Lamborghini Urus, and even a Tesla Cybertruck.
The newly minted Cleveland quarterback has always had a soft spot for a Rolls. He bought one back in college, too, when his NIL deals were making him way richer than his NFL deal has.
When Deion asked Tom Brady whether a college player really needs a Rolls-Royce, Brady offered some advice to Shedeur, saying, “I think he needs to get his ass in the film room and spend as much time in there as possible and less time in the car.”
Of course, Shedeur will spend time in the film room. He has to. And this is not to have an outstanding rookie season, but to have a rookie season in the first place, by making it to the Browns’ roster.
