“Charlie Kirk’s Voice Will Continue to Echo”: Chiefs Owner Clark Hunt’s Wife Pens Lengthy Note After Tragic Death of Donald Trump’s Ally
America has been mourning the death of political activist Charlie Kirk, who was shot dead while speaking at Utah Valley University on Wednesday. It’s a tragedy that has left friends, family, and supporters of the principles he stood for heartbroken.
Kirk, 31, a right-wing activist who believed in free markets and limited government, had co-founded Turning Point USA. He was a devoted husband and father of two.
In response to Kirk’s passing, many have expressed their condolences on social media. Among them is Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt’s wife, Tavia Hunt, who penned a lengthy note on Instagram. “As a society, we must be reminded that human life is sacred and never disposable,” she began her note.
“We must learn again to disagree with words, not weapons. That is exactly what Charlie modeled — he met opposition with dialogue, not violence, and proved that conviction and civility can walk hand in hand,” Tavia continued.
“Charlie’s voice will continue to echo, calling us to live with conviction, courage, and hope. May the righteous rise up, bold as lions, and bear witness to the truth,” she added.
The message, which was shared alongside a stock photo meant to represent Kirk and his wife, received over 9k likes at the time of writing this article.
Tavia said much more about Kirk. In the paragraphs above, we have presented a condensed version of her post. If you would like to read her full message, the embed is included below:

It was a nice gesture from Clark Hunt’s wife. Clearly, the tragedy has rattled her, and she felt the need to say something.
As of now, a manhunt is underway as police try to locate Kirk’s murderer. According to sources, the shooter fired from an adjacent rooftop, left the weapon behind, and fled on foot.
The murder has sparked a political outcry among U.S. citizens, especially from the conservative right wing. Even Randi Mahomes, mother of Patrick Mahomes, has spoken out, sharing Tavia’s post on her IG story.
Many believe that the tragedy is a sign that political violence must be taken much more seriously in the country. After all, President Donald Trump was nearly assassinated in a similar incident in July 2024.
