Among Us Zombie Mode: All you need to know about the game mode that Innersloth should make official!
Among Us Zombie Mode is a new game mode, designed by fans, that promises to become an extremely fun in-game option which Innersloth should cash in on.
Innovation and Among Us have gone hand in hand since day 1. Be it new memes, kill animations, full-fledged movies or pumpkin carvings, creative projects have been aplenty. However, the most exciting innovations around the game have to do with the addition of new game modes. Be it Hide & Seek, Cops n Robbers or the newest addition to the party – Among Us Zombie Mode!
What is the Among Us Zombie Mode?
The Among Us Zombie Mode is one in a long list of mods that Among Us players have made. While the exact identity of the maker isn’t known, the mode has become a major hit among players over the last few days.
Rules for the Among Us Zombie Mode are quite simple. Just like the usual distinction between Imposters & Crewmates, we have here two camps, Crewmates & Zombies. The game begins with 9 Crewmates & just one Zombie. However, as the game progresses, Zombies go on increasing. How does that happen?
Well, every time a Zombie touches a Crewmate, they become a Zombie too. The aim of the Crewmates is to finish their tasks & win before every one of them becomes a Zombie. Zombies usually dress up in green & Crewmates wear a blue police uniform. Moreover, Zombies also have a lower vision & slower speed compared to Crewmates.
Note: While playing, the initial Zombie should always abstain from tapping the Kill Button. This is a major bug & if you do so, the entire lobby will crash bringing everyone back to the main menu.
Why Innersloth should cash in on the idea?
We know that Innersloth is currently really busy with the next update & the new map coming out. We also know that they’re a modest team of 3 & suffer from a severe workload. Furthermore, Among Us also has an archaic core program which makes it difficult to update it without introducing new bugs into the system.
However, having said all that, if Innersloth could somehow embrace these mods, one feels that it’d be a masterstroke. The Among Us game mods will help diversify the game to an even greater extent. Also, official game mods will be relatively more reliable too.
So, fingers crossed, let’s hope Innersloth does something about this.
