CPL 2020 Dates and Schedule: When will Caribbean Premier League 2020 begin?

CPL 2020 Dates and Schedule: The SportsRush presents for you the complete fixtures of the upcoming season of Caribbean Premier League.

The eighth edition of the Caribbean Premier League is all set to begin from tomorrow, i.e., August 18. The tournament will witness six teams locking horns against each other to win the biggest T20 league in West Indies.

After the round-robin format, the top four teams will qualify for the semi-finals and the winners of these two matches will play the final match on September 10.

In a bid to counter the possible threat which the COVID-19 pandemic can cause, 33 matches of CPL 2020 will be played at only a couple of venues namely Brian Lara Cricket Stadium and Queen’s Park Oval in Tarouba and Port of Spain respectively.

All the players had reached Trinidad & Tobago quite a few days ago and resumed training after completing their mandatory quarantine inside their hotel rooms. Given the lack of top-level cricket these days, CPL 2020 has a golden opportunity to become the most successful Caribbean Premier League in terms of television viewership.
