SRH vs LSG Head to Head Record in IPL History

Set to host Lucknow Super Giants for the first time in the history of the Indian Premier League, Sunrisers Hyderabad will also look to register their maiden victory against this opposition. In the two matches that they’ve played against each other till now, Super Giants have registered victories both batting first and second.

Played exactly five weeks ago in Lucknow, the home team had comfortably cruised through a 5-wicket victory whilst chasing a 122-run target. Played in Navi Mumbai last year, Super Giants had successfully defended a 170-run target in the first-ever match of this rivalry.

Both the teams will take the field at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on a Saturday afternoon without key players namely Washington Sundar and KL Rahul. Also going to be their first day match against one another, it could be another comparatively low-scoring contest between these two opponents.

Having won four and lost six out of their first 10 matches of the ongoing 16th season of the Indian Premier League, SRH can’t afford to lose another match if they don’t want to depend on other teams to qualify for the playoffs. LSG, on the other hand, are better placed at the fifth spot on the points table on the back of five wins and losses each in their 11 league matches thus far.
