Stars vs Hurricanes head to head: Melbourne Stars vs Hobart Hurricanes head to head records in BBL history

The fourth match of the ongoing 12th season of the Big Bash League will be played between Melbourne Stars and Hobart Hurricanes in Melbourne tomorrow. With the Melbourne Cricket Ground in the news for all the unwanted weather-related reasons during the ICC T20 World Cup 2022, the same is not expected to be discussed ahead of the historic venue’s first-ever BBL 12 match.

Having begun their BBL 2022-23 campaign with a loss against Sydney Thunder away from home, Stars would be looking to return to winning ways especially at home.

Hurricanes, on the other hand, will be commencing their journey this season with an away match on Friday evening. Hobart, who finished at the fifth position on Big Bash League 2021-22 points table, had failed to go past the Eliminator earlier this year.

Stars, who have dominated Hurricanes over the years, had put on display a record-breaking performance during their last encounter against them at the same venue. Not expected to play this match, regular Stars captain Glenn Maxwell had registered the highest individual score in the BBL powering his team to the third-highest T20 innings total (highest innings total in the BBL).
