Florentino Perez has reportedly set the announcement date for the arrival of Eden Hazard at Santiago Bernabeu.
Real Madrid are not planning to waste any time in the announcement of Eden Hazard’s transfer from Chelsea this summer. The Los Blancos have been keeping an eye on the Belgian for a long time now with a transfer possibility.
In a recent interview, Florentino Perez said: “We have been trying to make Hazard a Real Madrid player for several years.
“We are working on a project to make people dream again, where we recover our hunger and ambition. I have already lived through this stage before.
“I have a dream that Hazard will arrive this year. Let’s make a good team this year. I am very interested in him coming to Real Madrid and I am very hopeful that he will come this year. He’s one of the great footballers.
“Last year we wanted him, but this year he only has one year left on his contract and it is easier.”
Eden Hazard is expected to make his final appearance for Chelsea against Arsenal in the Europa League final at Baku. Fast forward, Spanish publication AS report that Real Madrid expect no complications and will announce him as their player as soon as on June 3.
Various reported quoted that Chelsea’s £130 million demand for their forward will not be met by Real Madrid. The Los Blancos are not prepared to shell out more than £88 million to acquire his services. With just a year left in Hazard’s contract, the Los Blancos have the upper hand in this transfer.
The La Liga giants have also been linked with Luka Jovic and Ferland Mendy. AS says that the deal has been completed and the club is yet to fix the announcement date for the duo. Another presentation in that pipeline is that of the Brazilian prodigy, Rodrygo, currently on loan at Santos.

This won’t be the only presentation planned for next week. Real Madrid plans to close Jović and Mendy’s signings and present them next week. The next “galactic” era begins today. [AS]

You struggle to remember another star of this magnitude who telegraphed his intent to leave as clearly and so far in advance. And few have gone as far out of their way to try to ensure an orderly, composed exit on good terms than Hazard, writes @Marcotti https://t.co/WqyfGuzGK5

Eden Hazard in January:
“Like my dad used to say: I don’t want people to remember me as a good player. I want people to remember me as a good guy.”
People who worked with him closely will remember him like that. Dad Thierry can be proud.#cfc pic.twitter.com/WUvAYIz7RJ
