“The car is already in the back of my head” – Sergio Perez preparing well for debut season with Red Bull Racing
“The car is already in the back of my head” – Sergio Perez is getting in terms with the car as he prepares for his debut season with Red Bull Racing.
Sergio Perez is raring to go for his debut campaign with the Red Bull F1 team. Perez has worked with the team principal Christian Horner in the past, which will come of help when it comes to a better understanding of what he is required to do vis-a-vis teammate Max Verstappen.
Apart from that, there are a lot of new things that Perez is gradually getting used to. Perez has raced for the likes of Force India and McLaren in the past.
“It’s very different in a way that it’s a new team, there are so many things that you have to learn, and it just takes a bit of time. I will just get better and better at knowing the team more, understanding what I need. It just takes a bit of time, it’s the process, putting all that work into pre-season. I’ve already spent a good amount of time with my new engineers. That’s a key to try to speed up the process.
