Five players to look out for in the IPL Final

1) JAYDEV UNADKAT (RPS)

Jaydev Unadkat was initially not a part of the playing XI of the RPS team. However, continuous failures from Ashoke Dinda and Deepak Chahar helped Unadkat get a spot in the squad and he left no stone unturned to grab the opportunity with both hands. The Unadkat we have seen this season is very different from previous seasons. He has really worked on his bowling and his efforts have brought him the laurels. Earning praises from world class bowlers, Unadkat has been on a roll and is 2^nd on the Purple Cap list with 22 wickets in 11 matches and is second to only Bhuvneshwar Kumar. A 5 wicket haul tonight may see Unadkat win the Purple Cap this season.

He has picked up a fine hat-trick and his best bowling figure this season is 5/30. Unadkat recently stated that it was Wasim Akram in the KKR camp in the past seasons who taught him how to swing the ball and he is the bowler that he is today because of Wasim. The Pakistani legend has helped plenty of pacers from across the world over the years including Indians like Mohammad shami and Umesh Yadav who are all world class bowlers today. Unadkat may soon reach their level as the selectors will definitely be keeping an eye for this left arm seamer.

Although he wasn’t able to make it to the Champions Trophy squad, Unadkat would be hopeful for a national comeback soon. With the 4th best average in the tournament (13.77) and an economy rate of only 7.24, we can safely assume that Jaydev Unadkat will have a huge impact tonight in the Final. He may just be instrumental in RPS lifting the trophy for the first and possibly, the last time.
