GTA Online veterans would recall that Lamar is the first contact they make in the game. Picking the player up right at the airport, Lamar gave newcomers the lay of the land and helped set them up. After this, the first money-making opportunities presented were Lamar missions. However, with the next-gen update, Rockstar Games has reworked the introduction, removing Lamar’s physical presence. For those who haven’t started any Lamar missions, here’s a list.
Players can complete 16 GTA Online Lamar missions
1. Mall or Nothing
Mall or Nothing was the first race players would get into with Lamar. Unlocking at Rank 0, players need to simply complete the race to progress. Further Lamar missions involve a proper storyline around Lamar and his misadventures.
2. Ballas to the Wall
Available for up to 2 players, Ballas to the Wall involves stealing a car for Lamar. As a repossessed vehicle for Simeon, players have to wrestle it out of the Ballas’ hands and deliver it to the Premium Deluxe Motorsport showroom.
3. San Andreas Seoul
Looking to profit off of rising gas prices, Lamar instructs the player to steal a gas tanker for him. Available for up to 4 players, the missions is fairly easy, simply collect the truck at LTD gas station and deliver it to Lamar’s depot.
4. Ticket to Elysium
After the successful heist, Lamar sets his sights on a chemical tanker this time. Up to 4 players can head to Palmer-Taylor Power Station to steal the tanker and drive back to Lamar’s depot to complete the mission.
5. Going Down the GOH
Almost identical to the last mission, except limited to 2 participants, players must hijack a fuel convoy and return the tanker to Lamar’s depot in Murrieta Heights.
6. Caught Napping
Lamar gets word that his friend Leroy by The Ballas and tasks up to 2 players to get him back. After tracking his van down near the Great Ocean Highway, players must pull off the rescue mission and return him to his store, Leroy’s Electricals, in Strawberry.
7. Lost MC RIP
A running theme in the GTA universe, The Lost seem to get on everyone’s bad side. This time, Lamar decides to get payback for The Lost messing with him and Gerald. Up to 2 players can head to the Hill Valley Church cemetery to take out the biker gang at a funeral.
8. No Smoking
Up to four players must head to El Burro Heights and steal a truck full of Redwood Cigarettes for Lamar.
Lowriders update missions
1. Community Outreach
Following Lamar’s instructions, 4 players are roped in to start a gang war between The Vagos and The Ballas.
2. Slow and Low
After incurring Vernon’s wrath for his moves, Lamar tries to make peace by lining up a sale of two lowriders. Players are supposed to deliver the cars, but get ambushed at the meet, leading to the deal falling through.
3. It’s a G Thing
Following the failed deal, Lamar’s actions lead to Gerald being arrested. Players must now head to the airport to bust him out.
4. Funeral Party
Lamar tasks players with ambushing a funeral and taking the smuggled crack for themselves.
5. Lowrider Envy
GTA Online players must incite the Ballas’ wrath to lure out a customized Chino. Once in the open, players must steal it and deliver it safely to a lockup garage.
6. Point and Shoot
Players must identify the correct cars at a Vagos car meet before stealing them for Lamar and Gerald.
7. Desperate Times Call For…
Players must use a customized Moonbeam to take out a bunch of Ballas and Vagos across the entire map.
8. Peace Offerings
The final Lamar mission involves stealing 2 customized Buccaneers and protecting Benny’s shop from attackers. Once done, players will have completed all Lamar missions (not including Short Trip missions).
