Amouranth and Pokimane

Ever since Amouranth and xQc made the move to Kick with their multi-million dollar deals, their fellow streamers have picked sides. While Pokimane, and Hassan back Twitch, xQc, and Amouranth are obviously siding with Kick.

After being extremely vocal about her thoughts about xQc and Amouranth’s move to Kick, Pokimane has found herself in the middle of a huge drama. Since she was the one who accused them of letting go of their morals, and not being able to choose right, she got into a heated argument with xQc.

Amouranth has also responded to the clip with her own take on why Pokimane is acting salty about them both jumping ships.

Amouranth claps back at Pokimane with “farm clout and relevancy”

Pokimane has been critical of xQc and Amouranth’s move to Kick, and said she cannot compromise her “morals” and “ethics” for money. She said:

“I am good as I am. Why would I compromise my morals and ethics for more money when I have money? Something about that is so cringe to me personally.”

Since then, a lot has been said from both sides. Amouranth also broke her silence on the matter and responded to Poki and said the latter is just doing this to gain back some relevancy in the streaming community because she was very inconsistent with her streams and wants audience interaction again.

Amouranth also mentioned that Poki got into the drama with xQc because he’s one of the biggest streamers in the world right now, and has a huge following and she is looking to tap into it. She said:

“Because she’s been AFK so much. So she comes back and just involves herself in the drama to be a part of the discussion still so she can keep getting views and traveling and not really streaming much.”

Amouranth continued to say that what Poki is trying to do is an extremely smart move, but morals and ethics aren’t the only reason why she’s not moving to any other platform.

However, Amouranth clarified that she does hate Pokimane, but instead applauded her for finding her ways to find relevancy.

“It’s smart, like, I’m not trying to hate on her. It’s just, I think that’s the actual reason.”

In a previous discussion that took place between Valkyrie and Poki, the former explained that she was in full support of xQc making the shift, even it was for the $ 100 million deal he secured.

Kick in deep waters

Kick has found itself in the middle of controversies ever since it went live as a platform. From people lashing out on Kick because they couldn’t keep a check on Adin Ross when he moved to the platform, to very recently, the platform getting banned in Greece.

Even with xQc and Amouranth’s move to Kick, people have called them out for chasing the money bag and not really catering to their audience. However, numbers suggest otherwise. With both top male and female Twitch streamers moving to Kick, the platform has had over a million new users in the past week itself.
