The new Genshin Impact 3.4 update will introduce a new character and a new map to the game. To deploy the update, the game will undergo maintenance and will be down for a while. The schedule for this has now been revealed and travelers will also get a few rewards as compensation for the time that the servers are down. Genshin Impact 3.4 Maintenance Schedule, Server DownTime
The maintenance period for the new Genshin Impact update will begin on January 18, 2023, at 06:00 am (UTC+8) and will last five hours. During this downtime, players will not be able to access the game or even log in at all.
As the update is rolled out, HoYoverse will release a new playable area in the Sumeru region. With this new update, players will also get to witness the Lantern Rite festival, which will come with a lot of additional rewards.
Here are the timings for all regions:
- PST: January 17 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm
- MST: January 17 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm
- CST: January 17 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm
- EST: January 17 from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm
- BST: January 17 from 11:00 pm to 4:00 am
- CEST: January 18 from 12:00 am to 5:00 am
- MSK: January 18 from 1:00 am to 6:00 am
- IST: January 18 from 3:30 am to 8:30 am
- CST: January 18 from 6:00 am to 11:00 am
- JST: January 18 from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm
- AEST: January 18 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm
- NZST: January 18 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
While the servers are down and the maintenance period is on, players will get rewarded with Primogems for their patience. Once the servers are back. players will get approximately 300 Primogems as a reward.
