“I don’t know what this is, I don’t know where this is at, I am going”: xQc changes his mind about Met Gala 2023 after seeing a photo of Kendall Jenner

During a May 3, 2023, live stream, xQc was checking out Vogue’s website for the latest photos from Met Gala 2023. The streamer went on to tell his chat how he didn’t really care about events like this one, but quickly changed his mind when he stumbled upon a photo of Kendall Jenner. xQc being his usual self didn’t know how to react to the evidently beautiful picture and fumbled.

While xQc was scrolling through the Met Gala pictures, he gave his chat his opinion on such fashion-forward events. He very calmly said that he doesn’t understand such things.

“Chat… There are some things in life that I don’t completely understand. All of these things are like brain poison to me”

He then continued to scroll through the images till he reached Kendall Jenner and slightly moved ahead to her sister, Kim Kardashian, before making his way back to Jenner’s photo.

The French-Canadian streamer was evidently impressed by how amazing Kendall looked and fumbled as he jokingly changed his thoughts about the event. He said:

“Hold up… Oh my God… Oh my God… I am wrong. I am going next year. I don’t know what this is… I don’t know where this is at, I am going next year.”

The video of xQc made it to YouTube and fans of the former Overwatch pro saw him change his stance on the event and found it quite funny. While many called his initial reaction the “best take in 50 centuries,” others wanted to see him at the event. For the unversed, the Met Gala is an invite-only fashion event that people of influence are usually invited to. With X’s rapidly growing popularity, his fans state they would love to see him at the Met Gala next year.
