In the tweet, MrBeast said: “Elon Musk is now paying me $5 a month, who’s really in charge now.” For the unversed, Twitter CEO Musk announced a few policy changes that received a lot of backlash. However, this policy change in revenue sharing with the creators was recently added and was welcomed by many.
MrBeast had also reacted to the ad revenue-sharing Tweet by Musk with a “Woah :0”. However, Musk added a clause to this and said creators “must be a subscriber to Twitter Blue Verified.” MrBeast had earlier criticized Musk’s policy of cross-promotion of social media platforms and said it would have huge impact on the reach that creators have because of Twitter. One of the other most criticized policies on Twitter has also been the $8 that people have to now pay for the Blue Tick.
Starting today, Twitter will share ad revenue with creators for ads that appear in their reply threads

“Can I be the CEO of Twitter?”
In one of their previous interactions, MrBeast asked Elon Musk if he could become the CEO of Twitter. To this, Musk replied it is not out of the question. The context for this interaction was that Musk asked if he should step down as the CEO of his newly acquired platform.
Adding to his Tweet, Musk said that he will just run the software and servers team.
I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job! After that, I will just run the software & servers teams.
