Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Gatanisis Shrine

The shrines reappeared in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. There are various shrines across the Hyrule Kingdom, similar to the previous game- Breath of the Wild. So, here we will find everything about the Gatanisis Shrine.

Shrines are like small dungeons in Tears of the Kingdom that feature several puzzles and enemies to fight, and completing them rewards Link with exciting treasures and the Light of Blessing. The latter is a crucial item that increases the Zelda protagonist’s Heart Container or Stamina Wheel. Further, the shrine puzzles also help Link master his new Ultrahand ability.

The Gatanisis Shrine is among the several shrines featured in this new Zelda title. When compared to the other shrines, this one isn’t noticeably different. However, fans must also complete this shrine to unlock an armor called Ancient Hero’s Aspect. This item makes Link look like a Zonai and increases Link’s defense stats by 12.

There are 152 shrines scattered across the surface and sky of the Hyrule Kingdom, making it a tough task to find them all. Among those multiple shrines is the Gatanisis Shrine, which Link might find challenging. Fans can’t avoid this location, as they must visit all of them to get one of the best in-game armor.

The Gatanisis Shrine is located in Akkala Highlands. It could be hard to spot, as it hides among the cliffside between the Ulria Grotto and Knuckel Island. The exact coordinates for this Tears of the Kingdom location are 4497, 0830, 0095.

How to complete the shrine challenge

Like other shrines in the game, the Gatanisis Shrine also has a challenge that fans need to solve. This shrine challenge is called “A Well-Timed Bounce”. As the name suggests, this shrine is all about perfect timing and may be irritating if not completed correctly.

These are the following steps to complete this shrine challenge without any trouble:

  • Link will discover a bobbling platform in the shrine. Suddenly, a massive ball will fall onto the platform, lowering it down. Link then needs to use his Recall skill when the ball rolls below the target across the platform. It will send the ball to the target, opening the entrance to the sigil chamber.

  • But before entering the sigil room, Link should collect the five Bomb Flowers from the chest on top of the target. First, Link should use his Grab skill to remove the ball from the platform, or it can hurt Link.

  • The Zelda protagonist should then stand under the target and use his Ascend skill to reach on top of the target over his head. Then he needs to open the chest for the treasure.
