Locations for All the Shields in God of War: Ragnarok
#1 – Guardian Shield
You already have this Shield when the game starts. The signature ability ‘Shield Check’ breaks the enemy’s guard while counterattacking. It gets broken during the bout between Kratos and Thor, but you get to use it after Brok repairs it.
#2 – Dauntless Shield
This Shield is what Brok offers to Kratos after the Guardian Shield breaks. The signature ability is a Shield Bash which does a moderate amount of damage to the enemies. Parrying attacks will charge the Shield, and doing a Bash after will deal additional damage.
#3 – Stone Wall Shield
This is the second option you get from Brok after the first shield breaks. The parry attacks you absorb will charge the Shield Slam ability, which damages enemies in front of Kratos. Absorb four attacks to reach the highest level of devastation from the Shield.
#4 – Shatter Star Shield
During the main quest, “The Reckoning,” you can find this Shield in Vanaheim inside a Legendary Chest. The ability sends enemies flying backward. Kratos does this by slamming his fist intoShieldhield. The vibration from the impact sends enemies flying; the more you absorb, the better the damage.
#5 – Onslaught Shield
After you fight Garm in Helheim, you can get Shieldhield from a Legendary Chest nearby. The special ability of Shieldhield is double tapping L1 and charging towards the enemies, bashingShieldhield into them, breaking their guard.
These are all the Shield locations in God of War Ragnarok. Try to find them all to vary your defensive options.
