Kings XI Punjab Playing 11 today: The Sportsrush presents before you KXIP’s Predicted Playing 11 for their seventh match of IPL 2019.

The Kings XI Punjab have begun the season brilliantly, getting 8 points from the beginning 6 games. They are currently 3rd on the IPL table, and will be hoping to extend their stay in the top 4. The team faces Mumbai Indians, who they defeated earlier this season.

However, playing an away game, Ravi Ashwin will be hoping his team can have the same intensity and win the game.

Kings XI Punjab Playing 11 today

Chris Gayle:

The return to form of the big man has brought about a lot of joy to the Kings XI fans. His 40-run knock against Mumbai in their previous face-off will make Rohit Sharma's men fearful of the West Indies superstar.

KL Rahul (wk):

Slowly finding his way back to form, Rahul scored an unbeaten 70 the last time he faced Mumbai, and will be hoping he can continue that form into this game.

Mayank Agarwal:

The right-hander has been quietly brilliant and consistent for the Kings XI. His 41 against the Mumbai Indians earlier this season will give him confidence moving into an important encounter.

Sarfaraz Khan:

Sarfaraz Khan started the season off brilliantly scoring an unbeaten 46 against the Royals. However, Khan will be looking to be consistent enough throughout the IPL.

David Miller:

The Killer Miller will be one of the danger mans for Rohit’s team. His previous IPL records and recent form makes his inclusion a no-brainer in the side.

Karun Nair:

With Mandeep Singh struggling badly in the tournament, Karun Nair is likely to replace him. The right-hander has not had the opportunity this season and he will be trying to make the most of it against Mumbai.

Ravichandran Ashwin (c):

Ravi Ashwin will be leading the team as well as the spin attack against Mumbai. The off-spinner has picked up 7 wickets thus far this season and his bowling and good captaincy will be instrumental if Kings XI manage a victory.

Sam Curran:

Sam Curran went through the Delhi Capitals line-up with brilliant figures of 4-11. With the Englishman having great batting abilities also, he can be the key player for Punjab.

Mohammed Shami:

Leading the pace attack will be India's premier fast bowler, Mohammed Shami. He has picked up 6 wickets from the 6 games he has played and will be itching to get his name among the wicket-takers.

Ankit Rajpoot:

The right-arm medium pacer was brilliant against the SunRisers Hyderabad. His economical spell of 21 runs in 4 overs makes him a strong candidate to retain his place in the playing XI.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman:

The right-arm spinner has established his name as one of the most talented T20 bowlers going around the world right-now. With that said, Mujeeb’s brilliant variations will be playing a key role for Ashwin’s men.
