WATCH: Rohit Sharma throws hilariously to Rishabh Pant after committing error on previous delivery

Rohit Sharma throws hilariously to Rishabh Pant: The Indian captain immediately corrected his own mistake in Rajkot.

During the second T20I of the ongoing Bangladesh’s tour of India at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot, India captain Rohit Sharma rectified his own mistake via a hilarious throw to wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant.

It all started on the third delivery of the 16th over when Bangladesh all-rounder Afif Hossain hit an India pacer Deepak Chahar delivery towards wide long on. Sharma, who was fielding at deep mid-wicket, ran to his right to pick the ball throw it back to Pant.

However, a mediocre throw landed right in front of Pant making it difficult for him to collect the ball. With the ball ricocheting off Pant’s pads, the batsmen ran another single.

Earlier in the 13th over, Shreyas Iyer threw similarly as the ball hit the stumps and gave the batsmen an opportunity to run an extra run. Sharma, who seemed unhappy with Iyer at that point, wasn’t too happy with his effort either.

As a result, when the ball once again came towards Sharma, he lobbed it back to the keeper to put on display the right way to throw the ball. The ultra-slow throw saw both Sharma and Pant laughing about the same.

While Sharma’s masterly 18th T20I half-century powered India to an 8-wicket victory, things weren’t as smooth for the hosts in the first innings. Other than a few sloppy fielding efforts, Pant committed a blunder to give Bangladesh opening batsman Liton Das a reprieve.

With the three-match series level at 1-1 now, both teams would be looking to win the last T20I in Nagpur on Sunday to clinch the trophy.
