Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 are in full swing right now. The player base keeps growing, and the stats are increasing in numbers. Amid all this success, we have the Mid-Season update coming out on December 14 that will feature new maps, operators, raid missions, and more. Let us look at the details we have about the update.

MW 2 and Warzone 2 Season 1 Reloaded: Here’s What’s in Store

Firstly, we are getting a Double XP and Double Weapon XP weekend after the update’s release from December 15 to December 19. Playstation users get the benefit earlier than others. Shipment is coming to the Raids, a fan favorite, and will keep the older player base excited throughout the remainder of the season. 

Raids Episode 1 Atomgrad will follow Captain Price, Farah, and Gaz, where the Modern Warfare 2 campaign left off. This will be a three-man squad. To participate in Raid missions, you must complete Spec Ops missions. Here are the missions you will need to complete.

• Place in the top 20 in a Warzone 2 Battle Royale Playlist.
• Complete a daily challenge in Multiplayer or Special Ops.
• Use the final extraction helicopter in DMZ with more than $30,000 cash.

Completing the Raid Mission will unlock Gaz. In DMZ mode, we are getting a new area called Buiding 21, a biological research facility. Warzone Cup, a new event related to football, will also be in the game for a limited time., which players will enjoy. Klaus Fisker, also a new operator, can be unlocked through an in-game store bundle.

The Chimera assault rifle will be a new weapon that players can experience. Players must purchase a bundle or complete an in-game challenge to unlock this weapon. Lastly, a Social feature called Groups will also be in the game along with combat records. The updates go live on December 14th at 10 am PT
