‘Devin Booker, Kobe Bryant is watching from above and is proud’: Stephen A Smith sends emotional message to Suns star, lauds ‘real MVP’ Chris Paul
NBA Analyst Stephen A Smith is all praise for Chris Paul as CP3 breaks out his vintage self to complete the Nuggets’ sweep.
The Phoenix Suns are heading to the Western Conference Finals! After not being able to make the playoffs since 2010, the Suns made some changes and got Chris Paul on board.
Since his arrival, CP3 brought a sense of veteran maturity, while providing clutch players whenever needed. Chris Paul and his experience, combined with the young and talented Suns roster, made an immediate impact. The Suns had finished #10 last season, and they jumped to the #2 spot this year.
In the playoffs, they got rid of LeBron James and his Lakers in the first round itself. CP3 was sensational tonight as the Suns wrapped up the series against the Denver Nuggets.
He scored 37 points and dished 7 assists while shooting 14-19 from the field. Devin Booker added 34 points and 11 rebounds as well. This series, CP3 has just been phenomenal.

Stephen A Smith sends a message for Chris Paul, Devin Booker
The Suns seemed like a complete team, ever since the beginning of the season. With the consistency of the guard duo of Chris Paul and Devin Booker, the other players grew along the way. The Suns have six players averaging double digits in the playoffs.
Stephen A Smith wrote an emotional message for Devin Booker once the Suns completed the sweep of the series. He referenced Kobe Bryant, who has been Booker’s idol since childhood. Smith called CP3 the MVP, taking a dig at Nikola Jokic.
Let’s be clear: @CP3 was the MVP of this series. One of the GREAT point guards to ever play this game. What a sensational performance. As for @DevinBooker31, @kobebryant’s watching from above, bro. He’s proud. You looked @kobebryant-esque the whole series. @Suns=Finals?#Hmmm

This would be Chris Paul’s second Conference Finals in his career. Jae Crowder and his two conference Finals and one NBA Finals experience would come to play here.
Booker and CP3 would like to continue playing at a high level and making it out of the West. As of now, they would wait and see who do they face next.
The winner of the Jazz-Clippers series would face the Suns next. The Jazz leads currently with a slight 2-1 advantage. Game 4 of the series takes place on Monday.
