“False Accusation!”: 6ft 10’ Ben Simmons Denies ‘Hook Up’ Rumors With Rapper Megan Thee Stallion

Ben Simmons arrived in the league as the number one overall pick of the 2016 NBA Draft. The Aussie baller has since had to burden the expectations of an entire nation. Not to mention the hopes of a franchise that hadn’t witnessed any success in over 30 years.

Nonetheless, he burdened the weight without much of a complaint but wasn’t able to transcend his individual eminence into triumph for the franchise. In fact, the latter half of his tenure in Philly was extremely disappointing and stocked with failure.

Fortunately for Simmons, he was handed an escape from Philadelphia, when the Brooklyn Nets came knocking. While it was initially greeted with a marvelous response from the Nets faithful, the rejuvenation of Simmons hasn’t gone according to plan so far.

Simmons has been made a scapegoat over the past couple of years. While some may argue that he was deserving of it, the four-time NBA ‘All-Star’ heavily disagrees.

While one may have predicted Ben Simmons to have a career resurgence year in 2022, the Brooklyn Nets star recently came under the limelight for his alleged involvement with rap star Megan Thee Stallion. In what can only be classified as an unexpected turn of events.

Ben Simmons denies affair with Megan Thee Stallion

Popular artist Megan Thee Stallion came into the spotlight on Monday as the trial for the shooting sustained by the 27-year-old at the hands of rapper Tory Lanez commenced. Simmons was stated to have been “hooking up” with Stallion when the incident occurred.

Simmons took to Instagram to respond to allegations from Lanez’s attorney George Mdesyan that Simmons confronted Stallion’s former friend Kelsey Nicole about their relationship preliminary to the shooting suffered by Stallion.

On his Instagram story, Simmons posted a video of rapper Rick Ross stating the famed words, that sent him viral last month. Ross in the video can be heard stating

“Accusations..False accusations.”

Mdesyan has attempted to turn the narrative into making the jury believe that it was Nicole who had shot Stallion over an argument.

Needless to say, the trial will be covered extensively, and rest assured, Simmons’ name will be brought up time and again.

How is Brooklyn Ben doing

Since the advent of Simmons in Brooklyn, the 26-year-old hasn’t assisted in guiding the franchise back to playoff contention. While the organization did not experience any critical success imminently, Simmons’ status skyrocketed until it didn’t.

However, the future in Brooklyn does look bright, provided the ‘Big Three’ of Simmons, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving can remain healthy and fire on all cylinders.

As for his involvement in the trial is ongoing, stay alert for more updates as the case progresses.
