“I’ll never know his answer”: $16 Millon Worth Golfer was Supposed to Meet Kobe Bryant and Quiz Him on Being a Girl Dad
In 1996, the NBA was introduced to Kobe Bean Bryant. A man who would cement his place in basketball as one of the greatest players of all time.
Playing for the Los Angeles Lakers for all 20 seasons of his career, Kobe won it all. Five NBA Championships and an MVP, all while dealing with several other commitments he had in his life.
This includes being a father. The Black Mamba was a doting father of four girls, and that wasn’t easy. To the point where a lot of other dads wanted tips, including golfer Jon Rahm.

$16 million worth golfer Jon Rahm was scheduled to meet Kobe Bryant a few days after his passing
To meet your idol is the dream of any person around the world. As was the case for Jon Rahm, the Spanish golfer who idolized Kobe Bryant.
Rahm was all set to meet the Black Mamba. Unfortunately, it never came to fruition, as Kobe passed away a few days before their meeting. What did Jon want to ask his hero? Tips on how to be a good father.
Jon was an accomplished golfer, with a net worth of over $16 million over his PGA career.
“I honestly wanted to ask Kobe, we just touched on it, how the heck did he practice the way he did and still have the impact he had as a father with his daughters? How do you divide all that and still be a good reference for your kids? I guess I’ll never know his answer.”
Speaking on ESPN’s SportsCenter, Rahm said he was supposed to meet with the five-time NBA champion after the 2020 Farmers Insurance Open.https://t.co/DGTIkWILlE

To be more specific, Rahm planned on quizzing Kobe about being a “girl dad”. A bit surprising, considering that the golfer has two healthy boys.
Kobe Bryant loved being a “girl dad” and enjoyed raising his children
Over the years, many wondered if Kobe wanted a baby boy. Someone who could carry on the Bryant legacy. Well, for those who wondered, that wasn’t a concern for the Black Mamba. He was very happy being a father to four girls and famously referred to himself as a “girl dad”.
The five-time NBA Champion was a superb role model. He will never be forgotten.
